I've been working on the railroad....

Ok maybe not the actual railroad but I've had that song stuck in my head for some reason! It's a fun song, except for when you have to sing "Dinah won't you blow" lol. Gotta laugh at that!

Anywho, I've been cleaning some old stuff out lately, a little on my need to get organized. I'm having a hard time getting rid of baby stuff. The little monster has out out grown alot of clothes, and though the toys left from the other two are his age range he doesn't play with them when he can just try to grab what his older siblings are playing with! So what do you do with it all?? I won't throw it in the garbage, I hate dealing with freecycle and craigslist. I seem to always get the wackos who say yes, plan a pick up then say, nah give it to someone else! UGH. So I keep calling for charity pick ups, which is hard but at least in my mind they're going to a "good home". I hope.

It must be the hoarder in me :)

My DH likes to call me that, and it scares me!! Have you seen that scary show?? God help me if that happens! Yikkes.

Hello again.

Look at me go...two in a row! Sorry, I couldn't resist!

I was full of energy today--or full of pepsi max! Whatever it let me get a good amount accomplished anyway. I got the laundry AWAY which is big, I had all the Daisy GirlScout meeting stuff ready to roll out the door with me, dinner in the crock pot by noon, dishes done! Go me! Productive and yet not stressful day!

Now as long as this snow doesn't hit we'll be able to have our family xmas/new year party on Saturday and the hubby won't be all annoyed that it was cancelled. Schools up north are already closing the doors for tomorrow WTH??? With all the suv's and 4x4's out there why are there more snow days? Whatever. The town did a crappy job plowing THAT RIGHT I SAID IT TOWN!!! When I had to shovel 5 extra feet into the street to be able to reach open road that 's a problem. Oh and it's what a week, wait more, later and the street to the schools are still only one lane! Don't mind my 10k in taxes...I'm sure it's doing something else for the town right?!

Sorry, I digress...

So what am I going to do with all these new found toys and gizmo's?? Little Miss is at the age when all her new things are too small to be left around for the Monster that will eat them. I know get rid of some stuff. I agree, but easier said then done.

Well. I've cheated.

It's not as bad as you may think!!!! I've tried out another blog site. Thinking I might actually do it. But alas....I'm back. I have to go delete my words to another site from existence!!! I'm ok with it. I'll try yet again on here. Just felt I needed a post in 2010 before it's over! SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!

Long time no see!

Well it's been a while. I have to say not much has been going on! Besides time passing me by!

My belly is getting bigger. The kiddies are getting bigger. The sun is some how making an appearance today but I'm not getting too excited as it usually doesn't stay for too long! 

But that's about it. The days are filling up on the calender. Little Miss will be 5 next week. Then we have the big family wedding...the ballet performance...another wedding....a small vacation...eek! Then what Kindergarten?! It just goes too fast!

Well I can't believe my baby boy (aka gremlin) will be two on tuesday! Where did the time go?? He's such a happy boy. I really couldn't ask for a better kid. Though I might be asking for one when he's 3! lol.

In the meantime that photo of my Dad sideways is driving me nutz!!! I have to fix it. 

I'm very happy to see the sun today. Even if it is still a bit chilly out. We have the march of dimes walk on Sunday and for the first time in 5 years it might be warm out!! I don't think we've had a year with out it at least starting out with rain! But it will be on the boardwalk so it might be cooler...but I'll take it! 

I'm just trying to catch up a bit....I'll do a post for the gremlin when I can connect to my photos, and then stay tuned for the announcement that you all know about but I'll put it in writing!

AC BABY!

So this Sunday I will be off to AC BABY! My Moms office is doing a fundraiser for my Dad. My Dad won't be able to go. It's a fairly long ride and then alot of walking. I said I'd push him around but my Mom thinks the ride is what's going to be too much. I guess. I wish he could go. My brother is all po'ed too since he'll be 21 NEXT week! hahah. But at least there is someone to stay with Dad. 

I've been to AC one other time. I took my Mom down for her 50th Birthday. It was fun. This time we're taking a bus! I'm going with them and a friend of mine, my college roommate, is going too! I'm so excited. I really haven't done anything for a whole day with out the kids or the husband in a really long time...or at all since kids! Crazy. I don't know what I'm going to do! Screw the slots or cards!! I'm going to be so happy to just be out!! I hope hubby survives the day. Of course he'll be headed up to his parents house. (like every male left alone with kids) Only this is for his fathers birthday and his brother and sisters 30th birthday dinner. They're going out, thanks to grandpa, then back to the smoke house for cake. I've already voiced my "don't keep the kids in that smoke crap house for too long" opinion. We'll see how that works. He has that major guilt from his Mother about not being there...even without her saying it. But my MIL and FIL both smoke....constantly!! The house stinks. And in turn you stink! ANYWHO...

Back to AC! I hope everything goes well and I'm not reminded of this day away every time I want to go somewhere!! We'll see!

Movin' and Shakin'

Wow. This month is already on the move!!! School is back in session, all, and I mean ALL, of the holiday parties are finished! I just wanted to drop in and say howdy!  

I noticed that I had a few bills hanging around and I though oh no!!!! But luckily I knew that things would get crazy and had them all ready to go! That is one very very nice thing about online banking! I used to swear by my checks...but with all the chaos now..piles of mail and TOYS everywhere...to hop on the computer and do the bills...phew!

I did manage to change my page a little. Nothing exciting. I have to get some photos on my laptop so I can start putting them on here. I'm not sure how or who will be the first! 

Can I just say the lil Gremlin was exactly that today!! He wouldn't stop climbing onto his toys, chairs, couch, dishwasher...you name it his leg was trying to flip himself over onto it! 

Well that's it for my mindless rambling.

lacking technology

So as I was surfing facebook today and chatting back and forth with a good friend from highschool, I thought DAMN!!!! WHY DIDN'T I HAVE THIS WHEN I WAS IN SCHOOL?! Really. Can you imagine all the people I'd still talk to? I guess if I wanted to? But then of course, sliding doors right? Who wouldn't I have met? I remember in college, my junior year, maybe? When the college got "email". I would go to the computer lab, cause not everyone had their own, and I'd slowly connect to my email and send a message to my husband (well he wasn't my husband then!!!) at work. It was a novelty! A fun thing to do and see if it worked! I'd of course still send letters! I also remember the first plans I exclusively made over email. I thought boy I hope this is "real" as I'll look pretty stupid waiting at the mall that I never go to just to meet at a halfway point with a friend I don't get to see. As if the whole thing was fake and I was just playing a game with the computer! I'm just amazed I guess. Playing the part of old lady; ME! haha.

I'm sad I've lost contact with alot of people. I'm heading up a graduating class group on "the book" and often have to confirm people through my yearbook. I've re-read the notes we all wrote each other and am sad that I have lost touch with them, and missed so much in their lives. I am happy though that this awesome site has put me back in touch with them even if it is just to "add as a friend!"

Well in my case nope! I have to laugh about it but it does really annoy me! I some how always get roped into something that is a ton of work for me and someone else benifits, with little or no thanks involved. 

Now don't get me wrong, I'm more than happy and willing and able to help people out with whatever is with in my means... and I'm not looking for bilboards of thanks. Things just never seem to go my way! Maybe I'm too subtle or humble??? Hahaha I know this post negates the humble!

An example of what I mean. A friend of mine has a business. I stopped by the other day, and she mentioned that she needed to get some flyer's out. I being, or once being, in the business said "oh I can help you." She said that's awesome, I'll pay you to do it, I say great.  So I worked on some flyer's, nothing award winning, but I put just as much effort into that as I do anything. She says she needs to find a neon sign, I happen to know someone who does that so I recommend them....as soon as she speaks with him she calls me to tell me that he's great thanks for the contact and that he's going to do the flyer's too!!! WTF?? They're done, BY ME! She said then it won't be a bother to me!!! HELLO? I'M NOT BOTHERED IF I'M BEING PAID!!!!! I said fine, I'll pick up my design from your office. So annoying!! That's just the latest example. I guess I care too much? Sounds silly. I guess I'm angry that I worked on it and it's just getting wasted. 

Oh well. I know, lovely angry post after a few days!! 

They multiply like rabbits!

I have to laugh. I'm not talking about people or animals...but KITCHEN CRAP!! I was attempting to clean out my closet in the kitchen when I realized I have a small appliance store in my house!! I keep most big things in the box since they come with booklets and other pieces. But holy crap! Where did they come from? I think a good portion are from my wedding. And I'm finally starting to use them, but some I've never opened! Now you'd think I'd just give up and get rid of them! BUT NO!  I'm crazy. I know. I'm going to go break out the Smore Maker...smores anyone?

Well it seems I've been discovered! It's about time Missy! I've actually been curbing my details to keep a certain someone guessing. Maybe I'll redesign and post up some photos now. I originally was going to keep this very anonymous so I could be evil, but I guess the whole two people that know now can read it anyway, I really don't have anything evil to say about them :)

I dream of Genie vs Bewitched

With out coming off as a sci-fi or comic book nerd, I dare state this: If I were to have a super power I'd like to freeze time.

I said it would sound nerdy! I'm not saying for days. Just for a little extra time. Or to say stop the rotten pumpkin from falling out of the bag you just put it in to throw it away from falling on your new sneaker! But that's just an example.

How great would it be. You wouldn't need time travel like Genie where she's blink herself places, because  you could freeze time and not miss anything while getting there! I could freeze time to make dinner, and enjoy making it instead of shuffling the kids out of the kitchen most of the time! Of course on Bewitched it would just be a nose twitch. Well I guess that's still the winner. I'd certainly get a lot more sleep! And my children would grow up a lot slower than the are now, as would I!

politics please go away!

I'm so happy it's November for one reason and one reason only...Tuesday is Election Day. Though I have my opinions I just can't wait for it to be over! I'm sick of the town hall meetings and debates and jokes and especially the horrible ads. All the news this AM has only been about what they're doing on this "last day." I just can't stand it. It seems extremely left and right sided this year. And the annoying back and forth on the vice president candidates. Well I can't say both of them. Palin. They're so worried about about McCain dropping dead in office and her being the next in line. No mention about Biden? He would be next in line too.  There are no worries about a black man being in office and the threats to his life? It's sad to say but there are still pathetic low lives out there that don't think he deserves it not for his lack experience or issues they might not agree with but because of his race. So that would leave Biden. I JUST HATE IT ALL! BE DONE!!

Who ever is our president I will honor as an American. If taxes raise, we'll have to move somewhere we can afford. If we have to switch Drs so we can keep health insurance we will. If it gets intolerable, we'll move to Canada! EH?

not so lost in the web

So I often find myself on the computer just staring. I know I've seen a million sites in magazines and ad's....but when I'm here I draw a blank. Today while "eating my bonbons" I opened up the internet and read some email.....then nothing!!! I had nothing of interest to look for! Where have all the cool sites gone?? I need those flashing banners of "hey come visit www." giving me somewhere to go! Or one of those little reminder recorders that they sell on informercials!!! After I post this I'll shut down and well close up. No fun being not so lost!
